This woman lives in my apartment complex.

I love us. And Carrboro.

OMG, Bristol's husband-to-be is flying in to join the Palin family at the convention.

“Not dead yet!”

OMG, Bristol's husband-to-be is flying in to join the Palin fmaily at the convention.

No doubt with a staffer at his side, instructing him in interviewing techniques ala Crash Davis instructing Nuke Laloosh.

What's the age of consent in Alaska, just for the record? And what are the applicable rules about statutory rape, while we're at it?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Age of consent in AK is 16. No SR laws are applicable at that point, but the statutory rape age difference is 3 years. You must be 18 to marry without parental consent.

Bristol's boyfriend/fiance looks and sounds like a lot of boys I grew up around, and I daresay a lot of boys in isolated small towns.

Age of consent in Alaska is 16. Everyone was legal.

OMG, Bristol's husband-to-be is flying in to join the Palin fmaily at the convention.

This, I have to say, is just a little too much for me.

yeah, why is he FLYING in now? She's FIVE MONTHS pregnant. Being by her side was not something that just became necessary.

I hate positioning this as a strong family pulling together and kids doing right.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I wish she could give the baby up for adoption, but of course that's now impossible. I just can't help but think that's a better choice for a 17 year old who doesn't believe in abortion. But of COURSE it should be her choice to make. Not that I think it is.

One of the things that makes me wonder about the vetting process and announcement of the pregnancy is why they didn't take down the father's juvenile My Space page before announcing this. McCain is clueless about the internets, but surely someone on his staff has an IQ.
