Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

This is going to get ugly. I read (granted, on the internets, so - grain shaker of salt and all) that Palin was back at work only a few days after Trig was born.

One of my grad school friends took her final exams about a week after her first daughter was born, and was back to teaching about three days after her second kid and I think just two days after her third.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I'd heard to rumors regarding Trig before it hit Kos, but didn't give much credit to them, though her flight from Texas while apparently in labor had made me do the o.0 face this spring. Because, well, that's just crazy and unsafe and made me think WTF?

I wouldn't be shocked if it turns out to be true, but I don't actually care that much. I have many more reasons to twitch at the thought of her close to the presidency!

(Is Seattle the only state in the lower 48 that routinely reports on Alaska politics?)

I mean, the woman is supposedly breastfeeding. You can't fake that!

Nah, but you can induce it reasonably easily if you have a history of breastfeeding, and her second youngest isn't that old.

(The transman who gave birth's wife is/was breastfeeding their child together, having done just that.)

My deepest sympathies on your loss, Vortex.

Anybody can put diary on Kos. Personally I wonder if the rumor is Rove head fake. (Starting easily refuted false rumors about his candidates is something Rove has been known to do.) Anyone who goes there thinking it will help the Democrats is being foolish. It is probably not true. And if it is, IOKIFYAR.

Our wings are not tired.

That is pretty far out there. There would be way too many people that would know the truth. I was back to work a week after Bobby. If you can take baby with you there isn't any reason not to assuming an uncomplicated delivery.

eta: surely there is plenty of real stuff to hit her with - get with it people! Also, interesting that there is an excuse for Bush and Cheney to skip the convention. Huh.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Vortex, I am so so sorry. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

It just adds another question to her judgement, flying when she was in pre-mature labor with her 5th child, who she already knows has medical issues.

Art Crawl!!!

So, they're skipping the convention to go sandbag in the gulf states?

Anyone else watching the Open? I was so excited when Kei Nishikori got into the 4th round. I know my mother would have loved to have seen that.

OK, I really don't want to go there. There are plenty of issues to go after her for, her support for creationism, her opposition to abortion rights even for rape and incest victims, her global warming denialism. I really don't see the focus changed to her personal medical decisions.
