Wow- really not getting surgery, although I would love to have a chin. As my friend K said, it is not so much the second chin as the lack of the first one!
Also, agree with sarameg-- depending on the angle of the pic I can look great or like John Travolta in a drag fatsuit.
I wish I had a scanner, because I could show you the weirdest pic of me. It's a great photo, but looks nothing like the way I see myself, nor other pics of me.
bon's spoilerfont causes me actual pain. Ow!
Yeah, that may be the first sentence I've read that's made me regret switching my spoiler-font to grey. My teeth are all tingly now.
Damn, but the Dems are hitting the "we do, too, have military cred!" thing hard today.

I had the first part done to me, so that didn't bug me at all. I did learn that I had to be careful who I described the details of my surgery to.
As someone with a gummy smile, I'd think about the scary whitefont procedure if I were someone in the public eye. Fortunately I live in a cave, with my big pink gums.
Man, I know it is standard, there's historical precedent, it is politically suicide not to, and I know I'm in the minority, but I am really tired of politicians godblessing me and my country.
No shit. But you said it right there -- they have to do it. I always forget how much in the minority of the country I am in not giving a crap about what politicians think about god, Jesus, the Buddha, Ramtha, trees, Vishnu, or any other deity.
I've needed and had a root canal. Volunteering for that shit? No. Cringing from the description? No, too.
Actually, I woke up in the wee hours morning in a lot of pain. I was still so asleep at first, I couldn't actually figure out
where
the source was. I immediately burst into dry sobs (hey, I was mostly asleep,) thinking it was my tooth again. And then stopped into hiccupping laughter when I realized a) not tooth, b) just the usual bad cramps in my lower abdomen that comes every fucking month.
I think I'm still a little traumatized by that stupid tooth pain.
Oh, also? Michelle Obama needs to stop wearing the big stick-on-looking things on her clothes. I want to pull a Karen (from Will and Grace, y'know) "Oh honey, NO!"
The single one she had on during her speech didn't bother me but it looks like someone got carried away tonight!
Speaking of tooth pain...
I have needed and had a root canal, and also wanted to die. I have also seen many people who have clearly had teeth rot and fall out of their mouths, and I have to wonder how they stood the pain, because I totally could barely work. Clearly these people went through this and eventually had the tooth die. How did they stand it?
