"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Another event the Mongolians can dominate in!

Just what I was thinking!

There was a snag, since she's from El Salvador and was baptized by (anyone wanna guess?) Romero ... and the records of all the ceremonies he conducted - including her baptism - were destroyed.

Wow! What an amazing story.

Then we wandered around their Japanese garden,

Ooooh, it hadn't opened yet when I was there. Got to see the start of it on the train between it and the zoo, though. And there were a dearth of butterflies when I was there.

A very belated happy birthday, lisah.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

marrying a Nice Jewish Boy.

I did this too, and can heartily recommend it.

Toddson, I hope my proxy godson never runs into that priest. There were so many technically-iffy issues at that baptism...

Oh, sarameg, you have to come back for it. It's gorgeous. Really expansive and tranquil. Authentically done.

And there was a dearth of butterflies when we went two times ago, then last time we didn't have time and just did the aquarium. So we made sure to spend time this time, and it was great. They gave us handy sheets to take home about growing our own butterfly garden.

happy birthday, lisah!

My parents are making me watch NCIS. Sigh.

I packed very carefully for the trip here. N has been given way too much stuff from grandma and grandpa and I now have too much stuff to bring back. I have to mail stuff home. Sigh.

One thing I've forgotten. How much clover there is and subsequently how many bees there are here.

Also, we went to the farmpark today. Yes. A FARMpark!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You also have to leave gymnastics in for Gunkata. TKD isn't enough.

Does anyone watch Saving Grace here? I think I've retroactively become addicted to that and Criminal Minds.

Oh, and lawyers? Seen the promo for Raising The Bar? Mark-Paul Gosselaar's hair's court-worthiness? Jerry Kellerman impresses the judge?

FCM: Well, one C's Fabio, F's Taebin (hopefully the strain doesn't kill him--he looks frail), M Kaka (why not?). C SMG, M Sarah Shahi (if only to get on the Life set, F Sara Ramirez.

I propose this one because I don't know:

Shemar Moore (look around--there are more pictures of joy (that might be NSFW--mine was)
Victor Webster
Johann Urb

I just don't know what to do.

Also, I'm reminding myself that gymkata =/= gymkhana.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

My parents are making me watch NCIS. Sigh.

It's hilarious! The line of encrypted high-level FBI computer information they just showed was "print.css"

I don't think that'll do what Gibbs thinks it'll do.
