I'm shoving some of the banana bread I'm making through the internet to you, Nilly. Can't you smell it?
Seriously, the apartment smells divine.

ION, the FAILBlog owes me a new keyboard.
I almost choked when I saw that.
I'm reading more speculation that the text message timing was meant as a dig at the Hillary campaign. I think it's more likely that they waited as late as they could to still be the headline in the major papers.
msbelle, I met a local mom today and her son whom she adopted from Ethiopia. OMG. That little boy is SERIOUSLY CUTE.
I just made a donation to get an Obama/Biden car magnet. I was watching the speeches on the treadmill at the gym and I can officially call myself an Obamazon now.
JC Watts? Or are there two young black republicans?
He ain't gonna go there, but he'd be smart to take a woman as his veep.
Condi!!
Condi would be a really smart choice for him. And as far as I know, the fundis like her. Hope Hec is right and McWar does not go there.
Do you really think the Old White Dudes can get their minds around the possibility of a young black woman as possible president?
Hope not. Republicans seem to be VERY fond of winning elections. But maybe I'm feeling pessimistic.
I can't imagine him choosing Condi, but I'm also horrible at predicting these things. It would make it interesting. I'm torn between wanting to bury my head in the sand and watch only recorded tv and no news until November and wanting to read all the polls and blogs. Crazy making it is.
Marathon still fascinates me. Dude beat my best time by nearly 5 hours. There goes my Olympic hopes.
Hi all. Just got back from Maine. Not caught up on anything.
There was something going on at the Bush compound in Kennebunkport. Couldn't tell what it was, but there were a whole bunch of people at Walker Point. The flags up were US, Maine, and Texas -- they usually change the state flags depending on which relatives are visiting that week. There was a family wedding there a few weeks ago, and some local friends of ours were still talking about "the crazy Bushes" and their wedding plans -- the place they used for a caterer is mostly known as a sandwich shop, and other weird stuff like that.
