I think I'm going to spent at least the next 6 months under my desk, sucking my thumb.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm at the Bean drinking a latte and editing my first chapter while my mechanic figures out what's making the ticka ticka ticka noise in my car.

Have chicken tikka for lunch!!!!

Mmmmm. Chicken tikka.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I think I'm going to have a mini pizza from Schlotzky's.

What is twitter?

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

The weather here is crazy. Sunny/cloudy/sunny/cloudy - oh wait! now it's pouring rain. Whoops, sunny again. No, it's raining. Wait, sunny again. I've been opening and closing the blinds and the windows all morning.

At least now the sun has moved so that it isn't shining directly on my screen, so I can leave the blinds up. I'm also glad I wasn't outside, because I wouldn't have thought to take my umbrella and would have gotten drenched.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I had a bambino pepperoni pizza from Trader Joe's last night and it was Da Bomb. They totally fit my diet, are delicious, and they are four for $3.99! I think I will have one for dinner EVERY NIGHT FOREVER.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

ODL.

Because of a mix-up in the schedule, I am holding the House Chaplain pager until 11:30 or so. I'm not expected to visit patients--since I haven't had any training I'm not even qualified to do so. I'm just supposed to triage and page one of our supervisors who are all over at the other site should something urgent come up. But still.

It just stopped raining where I am and is now sunny again. I keep expecting to hear big thunder with this weird weather.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

It's hot and humid here. As it was yesterday and probably will be tomorrow. Eh, I knew it was NC when I signed a lease. And September's not too far off.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I had a bambino pepperoni pizza from Trader Joe's last night and it was Da Bomb. They totally fit my diet, are delicious, and they are four for $3.99! I think I will have one for dinner EVERY NIGHT FOREVER.

I am intrigued by this. They're frozen?

I wish my buffalo chicken sandwich would get here!!
