Pete, pothos is almost impossible to kill, does not attract bugs, grows in any light and you can train it onto shaped structures or just cut the vines off when they get too long.
If the vines get scraggly, you can cut them off, shove them in dirt and grow a whole new pot. Hardier than a hardy thing.
eta: forgot to mention the common name: Devil's Ivy. heh.
Devil's Ivy. heh.
I think we have a winner.
It really is the non-plant-person's plant.
I currently have 3 pots...all of which came from one stem. When the vines get long, I just drape them around the pot. The thick, waxy leaves are high oxygenators (if there is such a word) and are easy to clean.
Plus the cool name.
Oooh! Big lightning and thunder. Power just went off for a few minutes.
I second Bonny's take on the Pothos. It really is nearly impossible to kill. And will do well in low light. Hang 'em, stake 'em up, they'll do just about anything.
I want shrift's hair style!
shrift and Dana, those cuts look fantastic on you two.

You're supposed to
clean
them?
Oh, awesome hair, shrift and Dana.
Also, we rule!
Chicagoans happier with their city than Parisians, New Yorkers
Forget Paris! Chicagoans are much happier with their city. So are New Yorkers, according to a survey of 8,600 people in 14 of the world’s largest cities.
Woot!
I'm watching a repeat of Bones on TNT and seeing David Boreanez in a white tank top splattered with blood sent me into a major Angel flashback.
