You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

This is pretty cool--word clouds comparing McCain's blog to Obama's.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Where did you find that info? I bow to your google-fu.

I heard it on Buzz Out Loud (http://reviews.cnet.com/buzz-out-loud-podcast/), so take it with a grain of salt. Or several.

Damn. I was really hoping it would be Twilight-related.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I actually really love the imagery and the design of the Twilight series. It's beautifully stark and spare. Definitely a case of not judging by cover, yes?

What a coincidence--I just sold a copy of Erotomania at the bookstore last night (I recognized that cover).

In local real estate news, boy, are prices dropping like a rock around here! I just did another search for 2+BR townhouses for under $175K, and not only found a few more than two weeks ago, but a few of the units that were in my initial search have dropped from $150-160K to the $125K range. Short sale pressures will do that, I guess.

I think they'll be selling these online, too, which is a first. However, you're going to get a lot of people snapping them up and then re-selling them on eBay for triple the price (happened with Cavalli - I think within an hour of the collection going live).

If Jilli needs, I'll probably be making a run down to our H&M on the day - I could pick up something for you, too. I fear no crazed fashionista.

Uh. Huh. I do NOT get fashion.

For instance, I have never seen a woman wear pants like this: [link] except back in high school when we flipped our sweatshirts upsidedown and wore them as leggings under our uniform skirts to piss off the nuns.

But -- those pants! They're not flattering. What am I not getting?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Uh. Huh. I do NOT get fashion.

Try not to let the hair and make-up distract you. Or the saggy-knee jodhpurs. That said, I think the only two pieces I really like are the pea coat and the dress, but they are both lovely.
