I smiled when I changed my IM picture this morning from a pic of my great grandma in her youth to my tiny sweetie, Momo.

I smiled today putting my pillowcases back on when I remembered Dylan's little handprint that used to be there. So cute. Greasy and chocolately, but cute!
Man, that Dylan sure has lots of smiles to answer for!
Last smile: reading this question and remembering a dream last night. Time travelers hooked ancient Egypt up to cable. Returned to our own time and the pyramids were all about four feet high. The Sphinx was about the size of Allyson's Ruby. And (via some sort of interdimensional connection I guess) some of the ancient Egyptians were now members of this board explaining how they were screwing off at work discussing Dr. Who with us when they should have been making bricks.

My cat just curled up next to me, just looking for pets and a little contact. Considering that I have become evil and untrustworthy -- I keep taking him to the vet and now I am giving him shots -- it is extra nice to feel that things are moving back to normals again
Remember that formula for how young a man you can date that we talked about (something about half your age plus 12???) My cow-orker is in need of it, does anyone remember? And so you remember the source?
Half your age plus 7, and I think the source is lost in the mists of time.
Thank you!

Matilda laying her head down on the pillow next to mine, our noses a bare inch apart, and then solemnly announcing: "Eyes. Nose. Chin" et al.
Also, yesterday I asked her (as one often does with toddlers this age) "What does a dog say?"
And she opened her mouth and made a panting sound.
That's one thing she does that Emmett didn't. Emmett would learn the rote response and repeat it back to you. But Matilda will actually observe the animal so that cats don't say "Meow" but "Waohh!" and dogs pant and ducks go (quite loudly) "KWAK!"

Now this is the last thing that made me smile! She's right, too! I remember being annoyed when I realized that the animals didn't actually sound like the word for their sound.
