Natter 60: Gone In 60 Seconds
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
No, sleep, sleep! I'm the last person to tell anybody to *not* sleep!
did you see the pic of Dylan and the veggie dip?
Um, was it linked here, or-? Because a messy Dylan in a bowl of dip (that's what he's doing in my imagination, and it has the benefit of his imaginary parents, rather than his real ones, cleaning up after him) is sure to brighten my probably-yet-another-all-nighter.
Yeah, Spitz was the most famous Playgirl Bunny (I know, but it's still funny!) like, ever.
OK, fine. Now I want this dress
Jesse, IMO J Jill is sort of Eileen Fisher for people with less money. They occasionally descend into twee horrors involving embroidery, but they do a lot of nice simple basics, of your style is artsy/lineny.
People, you need to natter slower. I have a new job and I am not going to be able to keep up at this rate.
flea, how is the new job?
(Yeah, it'll add Natter, but you won't have to catch up on it, right?)
So far behind...
Divers = teh yum
DH = evil (Yes, as an avid A's fan, I am still against the DH, and in this case I am speaking of the designated hitter). One of the reasons I'm digging the Rockies - baseball the way it should be played.
Divers = still yum
ION, my mother said she "might" call me when she got home tonight, but she didn't! Bah.
Mark Spitz is angry no one invited him to any olympic broadcast - what with his record possibly about to be broken....
Should I be shot dead for considering a Purseket? Is it at the top of the aging-dork purchases?
javachick, I am infamous for my practical sensibilities. If it works for you, do it unapologetically.
Of course, I am a big dork who can't judge ages (WTF,you mean my parents are in their mid to late 60s? 60 looks older! And who the hell is 33?!) and would really rather someone else dress and accessorize me, so grain of sodium chloride and all that.
Trying to explain the DH rule to Fay at the SF2F is one of my more cherished memories, especially the part where I explained the NL and AL. She had just barely grasped baseball, and then when I mentioned TWO LEAGUES, it was all over, and that was even *before* the national anthem, when she (loudly) sung "God Save the Queen."
(Also, the DH is wronger than the wrongest thing ever made in a wrong-making factory in Wrongonia. I echo the "if you can pitch 'em, you can take 'em" sentiment.
