Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Guess what I just spent the last 25 minutes doing?

Nearly Fixing Lights? Not figuring Life? Naming Flowers Lillies?

[Edit: um, these were not meant to be guesses to sarameg's question, though now that I look at them, each of them may actually play the part of guess. Hmm.]

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Nathan Fillion Live?

I'd vote for this one.

Synchronized diving is new to me. It's fascinating.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Synchronized diving is new to me. It's fascinating.

I can't say I'm that interested in it as a sport, but I'm terribly interested in it as double cabana boys.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

They seem to be showing much more synchronized diving this year than usual. From other years, I think I remember them showing two or three dives -- the Americans and whoever won -- but it seems like this year they're showing all of the dives.

hip deep in pie

I'm back. Did you even notice I was gone?

I was at my friend's festival, and a folk festival. Right now I am trying not to scratch mosquito bites and trying to enjoy the last hours of freedom before going back to work.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I think its because there is a benevolent diety and s/he wants me to get to look at those Chinese and Russian boys as much as possible.

Of course, not so benevolent that I am spared Cynthia Potter and her whinety-ness.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

I can't say I'm that interested in it as a sport, but I'm terribly interested in it as double cabana boys.

Oh, yes!

You know what is pathetic? At home with DSL loads noticeably faster than work for just about everything. Not sure if it is my shitty browser or our work traffic is that bad.
