My brother just sent me pictures of D with his hair spiked into a blue mohawk, with an oh-so-serious expression. It's cracking me up.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I heart geology. Very very much.

Me too!

Continents collide and new oceans form and sediments reveal this whole history on timescales we really can't comprehend but we keep trying to, learning more and more. Amazing.

brillig

I don't remember which sport they were profiling, but late either Friday or Saturday night, they did a profile on one of the obscure sports, and they used the Stargate Atlantis theme for the background. It was very surreal.

But the Pirates of the Caribbean music was nice for the women's saber.

Urgh. I rather stupidly decided not togo get my meds because I felt OK. Yeah, that was pretty much when I was sitting down. Now I am going to the store and I feel wrong.

OMG, Miss Louise got a kitten! He's all ears and feets! 3, 4 months? I dunno. But she asked me where I got my cats' claws trimmed and I told her I did it myself. She asked me to show her, so I got to go over and snuzzle the wiggly boy and clip his claws. Told her if she worried about doing it, to ask me anytime.

He's a tan and black (coyote colors) tiger tabby, very pretty. And no problem trimming his claws. He only got squirmy when he got bored with being held.

OK, I was gonna vacuum, gotta go do that.

Kitten!

I am now on my way to work. If I time this right, I could possibly be back to my house by 5:00, but I have 6 minutes to make it from the bus stop to my office, find my meds and go to a different busstop. Otherwise I have to wait 50 minutes for another bus.

Aargh!

The bus is detoured!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Argh!

I went to go get my nails done, but I guess my regular person is out today, so they told me to come back at five. Since I doubled the amount of walking I had planned, I got ice cream. Not ingredients for ice cream, just a scoop.

OK- now I am at work, but the detour is everywhere around here (there is a bike race, so I guess I am going back to the stop to wait. I have a feeling it is going to be a couple of hours before I get home, since no once can even get to the hospital from either side, and all three nearby routes to downtown are blocked by police.
