I watched the women's fencing finals yesterday. That was fantastic. Really exciting stuff.
And yeah, Phelps last night was unbelievable.

See, after the postings about the Westboro church, I'm confused by this remark. I assume there's an Olympic Phelps?

Hee. Yes, a swimmer who broke the world record last night.
Heh.
I assume there's an Olympic Phelps?
Michael Phelps. Swimmer. Won six gold medals in Athens, and is hoping to win eight in Beijing, breaking the record for most gold won in a single Olympiad.
He won his first race, the men's 400m IM, a full length ahead of his own world's record. It was very exciting to watch.
And for a double Buffista tie in -- his home town is Baltimore, and has lived for a while in Ann Arbor.
I mean, granted, Fred Phelps is pretty unbelievable too. Just not in an Olympic way.
Happy Belated Birthday, Aimee!
This migraine I woke up with can leave anytime now.
Oh, THAT was the whack-a-mole Phelps that Connie was talking about.
I was very confused by her hate on for the swimmer.
Happy to see more dressage this morning and Cross country tomorrow! Whoo hoo!
I was very confused by her hate on for the swimmer.
I've got no problem with swimmer Phelps. He has nice shoulders.
I just ordered my Breeders ticket for next week.
Jealous! I saw them a few months ago and they still rock it!
Yeah - thus my confusion.
(And I had no idea that Baltimore was a stronghold of swimming.)
