Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

You're welcome!

I think Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh are awesome. I'm also kind of fascinated by the dynamics of a two-person team. The bigger teams seem like they're all put together by committees, and therefore they're not really relying on each other to make it to where they are, though they need each other for gold. But the two-person teams find each other and seem like more of a solid unit. I'm not really sure what I'm saying, except that I'm sort of fascinated by the dynamic.

Also, I'd really like some Chinese food. I miss NY right now.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

And Kerri Walsh is like 6'3"! She towers of Misty May-Treanor who is a tall 5'10".

I know! She can reach higher than the net without even jumping! That is crazy, yo.

Though, again, their uniforms seriously make me wonder why the guys have shirts.

I can only think the universe allows that wack-a-mole Phelps to continue to exist as an object lesson in idiocy.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Watch out for: the cat holding down keys, also drool on the mouse pad. Not mouse pad, what's that thing called? Unless your cat is less interested in actually lying on the computer than mine is.

Trackpad. And the cats have total disregard for the keyboard. Devi'll sleep on a closed laptop, and neither have any compunction about walking across an open one. MK will sit on the keyboard.

No respect.

Not the cat, the dog: this never stops being funny.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Happy-belated-birthday, Aimee!

I just ordered my Breeders ticket for next week. Major yayness. And Stranger In A Strange Land, along with other books and about 30 vinyls were kidnapped from my grandfather's house by moi.

Ahh, Sunday. I wanna shot the whole damn town, or just cutting my "to do list" by half.
