I'm intrigued by this Ice Cream in a bag recipe [link] , but it occurs to to me that if I go to the store to buy cream, why don't I just buy ice cream?

but it occurs to to me that if I go to the store to buy cream, why don't I just buy ice cream?
Well, that's totally a thing to do with kids. It's like a good toddler activity (here! Shake for a long long time!)
If you'll recall, I don't have kids.
And, actually, this Times way isn't so shakey like the two-can way.
ION, Bernie Mac died. 50 years old. Man.
Jesse, I just read that! One of those people whom something like that shouldn't happen to.
Whoa. Poor Bernie Mac.
Jesse, I meant, the only reason you'd want to do that would be to entertain kids. I mean, I buy cream for the ice cream maker instead of just ice cream. Is that different?
Yeah, I don't know. I don't know that I've ever had actual homemade ice cream, so I can't tell if it's worthwhile.
It is good. But mainly because I do weird flavors. Pluot being my fave. Served with a ginger snap. nom nom nom.
I might make just sweet cream next. No vanilla. Just yummy cream.
Tom Daley is adorable.
I missed the tribute to Jim McKay, which bums me out monumentally. I made it as far as the torch lighting and it was like the minute that sucker went up, I passed out.
It was way spectacular, but I still put my vote in for the archer in Barcelona and for the Winter Olympics, which one was it that had the ski jumper light the torch?
And for sheer sentimental value, my favorite is still Muhammed Ali in Atlanta.

That sucks.
