We have to see the chimp playing hockey! That's hilarious! The ice is so slippery, and, and monkeys are all irrational. We have to see this!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

From McSweeney's:

HAMLET
(FACEBOOK NEWS
FEED EDITION).

Polonius says Hamlet's crazy ... crazy in love!

Rosencrantz, Guildenstern, and Hamlet are now friends.

Hamlet wonders if he should continue to exist. Or not.

Hamlet thinks Ophelia might be happier in a convent.

Ophelia removed "moody princes" from her interests.

Hamlet posted an event: A Play That's Totally Fictional and In No Way About My Family

The king commented on Hamlet's play: "What is wrong with you?"

Polonius thinks this curtain looks like a good thing to hide behind.

Polonius is no longer online.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Oh yeah, I am totally month to month. Which is okay, I was month to month in my old place for almost 6 years.

It's the whole parking dealie that bugs. She hordes cars. There are four cars in the back, along with motorcycles and a boat. None of them work, and one has a puddle of transmission fluid under it.

What If You Only Thought You Were Gay?

An article about men who thought they were gay - until they suddenly figure out they'd been wrong and they were actually straight.

Despite the insistence of many—straight and gay—that switching between sexual preferences can't technically happen, Rothenberg isn't the only man to have believed he was homosexual before deciding that he was wrong. These aren't gays who attend faith-based programs to be "cured," or bisexuals who rotate between male and female sex partners the way the rest of us alternate pairs of shoes. And they're not the type who hide gay urges in public while privately trotting off to the local bathhouse.

....

For Ethan Robinson (not his real name), a 37-year-old film editor from Los Angeles, chasing women during his post-college years became a chore. "If I went to a gay bar I got hit on like crazy, whereas at a straight bar the women all but turned their backs," Robinson says. "At gay clubs you danced, you had fun. At straight clubs, you sat around, posed, and tried to affect a degree of indifference."

Frustrated by his relationships with women, convinced that romantic relationships with men would be easier, and figuring that if he never tried it he'd never know whether it was for him, Robinson got into a casual relationship with a "really attractive, interesting" guy for about two months. After the first time they had sex, "I thought, 'Well, that wasn't as weird as I thought it would be,'" he says. "I didn't recoil from the experience."

After that relationship fizzled, Robinson dated another guy but eventually realized that he wasn't gay. "It just didn't fit," he says. "It wasn't what I ultimately wanted." The switch back to women wasn't complicated, in part because he was never officially out.

Huh.

Dude. That's...OK. I think I have to read that article. But honestly, I'm fine with someone who wants to try out their sexuality like THAT. If that's really what it's about, and not like, a crazy "OMG, must be down with THE BIBLE!" reversal shit.

But I have a feeling that's not what most people do.

Then again, LOTS of women date other women, then go back to men. It's a lot easier for women to do that than for men to do that, in our society. So it doesn't faze me. I think guys should be able to do that too, but society isn't cool with it.

Dunno. I think sexual orientation is pretty fluid. Been hit on by gay gays who wanted to walk on the other side, I've made out with girls, I identify as straight because I love the cock, and ultimately chase men, but girls are awfully pretty.

It's possible that there are a lot more guys who would make out with a guy (but maybe not go down on one) than there are who would be repulsed by the idea. But I'm a Blue Stater.

Now I'm imagining a tower of old cars, one on top of the other (complete with a puddle of transmission fluid below one of them, happily in the back seat of the car underneath it in the tower). It only takes one parking space, and it can also be some sort of a - goodness, how do you call them, those big art displays that are sometimes put on the streets? One of those.

It's sad how the vocabulary (not just English, but in general) slips away with the decrease in sleeping hours. Especially since what I'm supposed to be doing right now is write. Hmm, do y'all figure that by the time shabbat ends and I actually sleep a double-digits number of hours, I'll suddenly have a flood or words all dancing around in my head trying to find their places in sentences long forgotten? I could probably make a little tower of them, somehow, as well.

Ahem.

Regardless of whatever sad little heap is becoming of what used to be my brain, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is a double Buffista birthday, Ms. Havisham's as well as Katerina Bee's.

Alas, both of the birthday girls' posts are long missing from (at least my) screen, but of course I hope the well wishes find their way to them, somehow. IIRC, CaBil posted a couple of days ago, so hopefully he'll be able to pass along the birthday happies to his DW, so at least there would be that.

Also, in case I'll have less internet time in the coming couple of day s(it's shabbat, then a fast): tomorrow, the 9th, will be Aims' birthday, so early wishes for her, as well.

It's great to post with you, just for you. [Edit: so, um, good night!]

But the pictures are always such a great bonus.
