Lorne: Take care of yourself and ah, make sure fluffy is getting enough love. Gunn: Did he have anything? Fred: No. And who's fluffy? Are you fluffy? Gunn: He called me fluffy? Fred: He said make sure…wait. You don't think he was referring to anything of mine that's fluffy, do you? Because that would just be inappropriate.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Damn, a typhoon just hit us....

Uh. Avoid the winds?

My computer at work totally died today!

AWESOME!

So glad you had a good day, Kat. I envy it. I envy y'all Huntington. That place... well, I get to my wee arboretum to just sit in the sun and read maybe once a month if I've got my act together. A place like that? Permanent weekend destination.

In holding pattern at work. Won't know the damage until we come back up weds. Uhg.

Anxiously awaiting dsl. I'm half expecting it not to work. Cause I'm like that. Then I have to cancel my dialup and see if I can get temp auto-reply& forwarding. Or send out the dreaded "update your addressbooks" to everyone in my email.

I have a weirdass burn or bite on my thigh. I'm thinking it is a weird reactive bite despite it looking like a burn, because I'd remember getting a burn and I woke up with it saturday morning. At first, I was AACKRingworm (because it looked like that) but definitely not that now (you can relax, Jesse.) I preemptively sprayed it with tinactin anyway. Not sure if that was wise or not, but whatever.

Tornado sirens haven't gone off in 10 minutes. I hope that means we're in the clear.

Yeah, looking at radar the worst of it just crossed into Lake Michigan.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Tornado watch and post is more fun than earthquake watch and post, I think.

But nothing tops Labor Watch And Post!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I swear, L&D is why god made Twitter.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

I have one cousin. Actually, thinking about it now, I guess that's not true, but it still feels true. Hmm. My mom's oldest (half) brother had two kids. The one time I remember meeting the half-uncle, he was a raging asshole to me. Though I've been informed that he was more polite when he met me as a newborn. He had two kids, both boys, that I never met. Apparently, their mom was also crazy, and both boys were mean and crazy. And sometimes they were in jail. So they were also stupid. I did have two cousins for awhile growing up, but one of them died when I was 13 and he was 16. So then I just had the one cousin. Luckily, he is my favorite cousin of all my cousin.

Oh, wait! Actually, I have two more cousins. I keep forgetting about them because I've never met them, or their mom, and also they're new. I think they're around two? Or maybe three.

Huh. So I suppose I have three cousins and two half-cousins. Or should it be four cousins, counting the deceased one, and two half-cousins? And yet, I still feel like I've only got one cousin, and I haven't even seen him in, geez, 12 years? That's so strange. There's a heck of a lot of estrangement in my family. Which is too bad, since I've always wanted to be part of a big one.
