Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

(I should change my user name to "whiny", huh? Snow White didn't have that as one of the dwarfs, right?)

I usually find myself to be whiny when I am three other dwarfs: Grumpy, Sleepy, and Dopey.

For some reason Christian Bale was in my dream last night, and not in the sort of busy-making-out-with-me role I would have liked. I think my mom had gotten a part-time job as an assistant to him and was stressed over dealing with all the press hoopla.

OK, I just wanted to say that I'm a linear combination of dwarfs. With different weights attached to each dwarf differing according to the different hours of the day and night, amounts of chocolate, hours of sleep, people in the room demanding my attention, and things I just-remembered-I-should-have-done-but-didn't.

Then I wanted to draw the figure representing that. And find the proper references. Sigh.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Mac chose to cash in his reading bucks today (he gets one for each book he reads this summer) and come to the giant B&N to look for a new book. So far it seems he is only looking at things he cannot read or that are actvity rather than reading books. I have been asked to "please go away" so I've grabbed a latte and am hanging out in the children's reading area. I am the creepy adult without child here.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

::Is gleeful that Nilly not only uses y'all correctly, but spells it right!::

Hi Nilly. I'm glad your workaround did, in fact, work. And it's good to be in the same thread at the same time you are. Long time no see, roomie!

Computers sense fear and stress, and react accordingly to make your life worse.

I want to dream about Orson Wells. I did dream about ita has night. We were comparing graphics software.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Actually, Bayistas, I need a rec for a pedi.

There's a fun place we went to during the SF2F, but of course I can't remember the name. Plus, it might not be convenient to where you're staying, and SF is a big city, so I'm sure there are plenty of places.

In conclusion, this was a highly unhelpful post.

“Not dead yet!”

In conclusion, this was a highly unhelpful post.

But highly amusing.

And actually, on a whole different SF trip -- maybe the Halloween Of Debauchery? -- we went to a totally different pedi place with Deb.

What? No, of course I don't remember the name of that one, either. I guess I'm just posting to affirm that there ARE good pedi places in SF, if only you can get the name of one that's hotel-convenient.
