"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Niagara Flapperless

I just enjoy this name and needed to see it again.

And then he hit the crosswalk button after I did, because obviously, I did it wrong, and only Jack Bauer can make the crosswalk light turn.

I think there are a lot of Jack Bauers on this earth, then. Although I tend to suspect that Jack Bauer would torture the crosswalk signal into submission rather than wait for the light to change.

“Not dead yet!”

OMG, OMG, I desperately want the olive green dress.

In fact, I think I may need that dress. *sigh* I was totally born in the wrong era, clothing-wise.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Me, too -- except I want the silhouette of the other women's dresses. Actually, no. I'm just as glad I can get a full-skirted dress without having to wear a girdle!

Although I do wear the spanx a fair amount -- one recent morning, I was wearing everything but my dress, getting ready for breakfast, and I felt like I should be in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof or something, with my bra, girdle-equivalent, slip, and shoes on!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Odd dreams

#1 I was having an affair with someone from my office. In the dream he looked nothing like the person which is a blessing. I do not like this person nor do I find them attractive. Plus, married! Disturbing.

#2 I was dance partner for NF training for some Dancing with the Stars type show. So odd, not at all disturbing, but plenty odd.

Belated Happy Bday Kat!

Heh. I just knew you would.

Okay, so this is what we need to do-- we all need to gather in LA, have many planning parties, involving liquor and blueprints, carry out an assault on the Mad Men studios, zeroing in on the costume department and if we happen to carry off Jon Hamm in the process, well then, whoopsie. *eg*

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Belated Felicitations, Kat! Hope it was as happy a birthday as you deserve!

Swouncing

#2 I was dance partner for NF training for some Dancing with the Stars type show.

I just happened to tell an Israeli friend (who recently read Allyson's book) about NF calling you, via ita, on 3am on that night of the "Serenity" premiere. Could my e-mail to her - um, in Hebrew - somehow infiltrated your dreams and danced its way to your subconscious?

In other, even more meMeME news, my own computer still hates me (and the poor system administrator who tried so hard to solve the problem still didn't find a way to fix things), but I managed to find a somebody-else's computer who is willing to talk to me. So if nothing can be solved here, I may be able to take the very final finish stage, and just do it on his computer. It's a sort-of-walkaround let's-go-to-the-north-pole-via-Australia sort of solution, but it's definitely better than none.

Oh, and it shows that I wasn't insane (um, regarding this), that what I wrote does make sense, it's just that my own computer was changing versions and refusing to understand that sense. So there.

I only wish I didn't have to waste practically all of last week over this.

t /meMeME for now

t Oh, who am I kidding, that tag doesn't close

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Yay Nilly! I'm so glad some sort of solution was found.
