Ahhh...I am home from an excellent day at the beach with a good friend and a cute baby. Good times. It's like the best of both worlds -- I felt like I went out of town for the weekend (spent the night in Jerse), but now I have a whole weekend to go!

I've just been categorizing photos, going back to 2001 (Africa trip. For some reason I thought it was 2000. I flew again in October 2001, and it just seems like there was a lot more time between the trips.) Eldest nephew was born in 2002, which is when I got my first digital camera. Wee newborn D! Subsequent birthdays! Eeeee.
I really ought to scan in all the albums I have from prior to 2002.

Yeah, I know - with Ellie I was all excited for her to get to solids and stuff whereas with Frisco, it seems like he was just. born. like, last week.
I'm glad to know Ellie isn't the only tiny three year old. She is supposedly 28 pounds, according to the doctor's office (and 3'2") but I think she weighs more like 26 pounds.
