Pretty pictures of Jupiter! [link]
Those pictures are amazing.
BTW, scientists are now thinking that solar systems like ours (rocky planets close to the sun, gas giants further out from the sun) are actually pretty rare. Which might make life on other plates less likely, as Jupiter probably protects the Earth from many meteor collisions.

I just walked into a plate glass window and bent my glasses all to hell....
That happened to me with a door-net once, but the one time I actually managed to bent (and partly break - a lens popped out of place) my glasses was when I needed them most: it was my second day of my US trip, I'm all out and about and oh - without a spare pair, because hey - it's only a month, right? What could possibly happen in a month? - and humm, let's just say. Me? Tough. Seattle's sidewalks? TOUGHER.
ION, Nilly says hey to all.

The second picture down, of Europa rising over Jupiter, always reminds me of the Death Star.

Hey, beisbol-type people: is there an example of a men's game where a pitcher was about to get a no-hitter and the opposing team decided to let him?
(I'd close the tag, but we'd all know that's a lie.)
Am so sleepy even after large latte. May need to go home. Srlsy.
Poorly place walls of glass and doorway combos are a menace.
Weekend - playdate for mac tomrrow then zipcar for some shopping.
Sunday - church then maybe movie at home.
I'm not aware of any, juliana. It's my sense that at least in professional baseball, a player who did that would get in trouble with their manager/team owner/league, so if it did happen, they wouldn't be overt about it.

Am right there with you.
Me, too. I started off well today, all jazzed after a morning run and two big mugs of coffee. That sure didn't last.
