hivemind - comic readers. I got mac some comics a while back and they were "to be continued" but we never got the rest of the series - I have looked on ebay and no luck - they are from 2007 - any ideas?

Ah, no unexpected cavity searches for carrying anti-perspirant, then?
To be fair to security, I too would be a little curious about an unexpected cavity.
Which series were they?
msbelle, if a comic series is from 2007 -- "coming soon" might mean later in 2008. Pub dates in a lot of comics companies are a slippery concept. Better tell us which series they are!
My computer, after two long phone support sessions, is still mysteriously rebooting in the night. I foresee having to take it in to MicroCenter where it's still under warranty.
(Incidentally, I've BACKED UP all my important personal files so at least I don't have that free-floating anxiety of DOOM DOOM DOOM to worry at me.)
WTF? Do we really look that old?
Poor Cash's DH. People have kids at a wide range of ages. My sister was a grandma at 39. I'm old enough to be my kids' grandmother. In summary, guy at park = nozzle.
Does anyone get the ad on Facebook for SinglesNet, which is showing a picture of Jensen Ackles as one of the "hot guys" you can meet on SinglesNet. WTF?
Grrr. I've had an earworm of Rush's Tom Sawyer ever since they appeared on the Colbert Report (a week ago at this point). Do. Not. Want.
Yeah, my husband saw the vid of them playing Rock Band and said they lost-- poor Geddy can't hit the high notes anymore.
Dear hivemind, an English question (I've been phrasing it back and forth for quite a few times now, so each of the option sounds wrong to me right now). Is it correct to say the following sentence? If not, how should I re-phrase it?
The larger X is, the better Y may be chosen.
Ta, ever so.
[Edit: oof, each way I write it seems wrong now.]
What does the "better" refer to? Is the act of choosing better, or is the Y better?
