Being up in the costume shop at FSU this past weekend reminded me of how much I want/need a new sewing machine. Then one of the instructors there was 'kind' enough to remind me that Bernina offers an education discount so a bottom of the line machine would 'only' run about $600.

Some days, all of my pants are cranky.
Congrats to flea & Dr. flea!
My husband just said that I didn't need pants for anyone to know when I was being cranky.
Video of a very strange car-chase: [link]
A guy in a tiny, three-wheeled car is chases by ninjas on roller skates. Seriously.

Oh, hey then. Pick one up on the way home from work. Hell, get two!
Cranky bloomers!
One of m favorite sandwiches ever in my life is homeade wheat bread, peanut butter, raisins, apples, yogurt and sprouts. Which I realise is a little weird, but it is good.
Except for the yogurt (how does it stick?) that sounds like a classic hippy sandwich from my childhood.

My "new" sewing machine was from Freeccle, and is a Kenmore, but it works great! At the costume shop I have access to an inductrial bernina, which makes it so hard for me to quit, although that is one of m ultimate goals.
Is this where I say I am envious of our teaching job, GG? My fondest wish was to direct and teach theatre in middle/high school, but instead I coordinate educational programming at a school of nursing, and moonlight as a costume maker.

yep, my thoughts exactly. Then she offered to give me directions to the local distributor. Yeah, sure, I'll get enough for all my students.
Gosh darn my "y" key!!!!
The yogurt just kind of gets poured on the peanut butter, just not much of it. It doesn't have to stick, per se....
Also, why is my uni not getting the educational Bernina discount???

It is a love/hate relationship. I love my students (and teaching/directing them) and hate my administration (the evil Draconian Dictator will be back to torture us for another year)
