(I particularly love that Spy!Daddy made the announcement or at least confirmed speculation.)

He performed their wedding ceremony, too, I think.

I've been torturing children today. Brief break while I wait to shoot the cat and then I shall resume.

It's damned HOT here. Not the best weather for tourists.

Oh, and of course on the one saturday I am not home? Fedex tries to deliver my new computer. Hmph. At least my UPS guy waits to even try to deliver packages here until after 6 on the weekend. Stupid fedex.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

He performed their wedding ceremony, too, I think.

He did indeed. I think they're an adorable couple.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ha! Out of context (and hey, that statement was deliberately out of context) it sounds like sarameg is applying for the Evil League of Evil.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Calli, I'll throw a mention of the Nissan Versa. We're getting great mileage on it (when we drove to and from Maine, which was half highway, half back roads, we averaged 33-34 MPG) and the back seat is very comfy. It's about the same size and vibe and price as the Fit(+/- 17K?), so if you are inclined for comparison, give it a test drive...

The lobster roll that Kristin describes, is, unsurprisingly enough, a CT style lobster roll. (I just had one at the Cape last week in fact, delish!) Also, Jasper White no longer has anything to do with Legal Seafood at all, he runs Summer Shack. Has for years.

OK, now that I've dropped my awesome lobster knowledge like a BOMB I'm gonna go make some strawberry shortcake!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Also, Jasper White no longer has anything to do with Legal Seafood at all, he runs Summer Shack. Has for years.

Summer Shack was, in fact, the lobster roll my grandmother was describing.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Just got back from Michigan. Had two messages on answering machine from a place I interviewed at earlier this week. Suspect I may have multiple job offers. Do not know how to process this information.

Food would probably help.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Now that I've worked through my lobster phobia, I enjoy it quite a bit. But I love almost all seafood not related too closely to the mussels or octopodes.

Feasibility study: can I buy a friend a bouquet of flowers, sit with them though a play and then give them to her, understanding she might not get home soon? I should include a vase too huh?

Barb, I hope you read the audition right.

Congrats, shrift. I assume you're waiting on Google before making another move.
