How did your brain even learn human speech? I'm just so curious.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I thought the Dalai Lama believed that reality is an illusion anyway.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Well, if it's appreciating at all you're still staying even, aren't you? Not making money, maybe, but in the first big chunk of a thirty-year you're not paying down much on the principal to begin with.

The problem with that is that housing isn't appreciating anywhere right now. It is going the opposite direction. So if you are paying interest only then you are creating negative equity with every month that goes by.

“Not dead yet!”

Staggering in, utterly exhausted. I'm sure I've missed absolute tons of stuff but with the schlepping of the Diva around the city in the pursuit of taking over Broadway, I've been barely making it into bed intact each night. (Am seriously missing my own bed, though.)

Anyhow, she performed her big showcase at Camp Broadway today, a condensed version of Bye Bye Birdie and was, IMO, completely adorable.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

We love you Conrad, Oh yes we do...

re: Honda Fit

I have a friend with one, and she LOVES it. So very happy with it. If I ever get around to replacing my 197K miles old Mazda, I'm considering a Fit.

“Not dead yet!”

She was one of the teenage members of Conrad's fan club. Other members of the group were the office workers. Lemme tell you what, though, twenty or so little girls between the ages of 9 and 11 can produce inhuman screeches that go way past eleven on the dial. I'm talking eardrum bleeding, every. single. time. they heard Conrad's name.

But when they sang "One Last Kiss" it was utterly priceless.

Our wings are not tired.

My sister bought a Fit a couple weeks ago. It handles surprisingly well. She liked the way the back seats fold up so that the dog has a large floor area. (easier to vacuum)

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Oh, Barb, they are adorable!! I'm starting to miss my kids (students, not my own children because I don't have children not because I wouldn't miss them if... err...okay, yes, you get the point!), I guess.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

That's a cute picture, Barb.

We are midway through putting the kids to bed. One of them just got up again, I'm laying odds it's Isaac.
