Steph- That cast of HIMYM clip-- when they are singing from Les Miz, remains one of the funniest things I have ever seen. I think I have shown it to everyone I have ever met, even people who don't know Les Miz, NPH or Jason Segal from a hole in the ground. Surprisingly, it is still funny.
When I went to school for theatre, I had to hide my love of musicals. Our graduating class was so serious. And serious theatre people who wanted to change the world did not like musicals. And, out of the whole class, only one person is doing theatre as their day job, and two of us are still doing theatre. I think maybe we were a little too serious.
Also, my internet connection just crapped out for, like 2 hours, even though my computer said I was connected and my connection light on the router thingie was green.
I remember walking around the Mall with meara & co (Vortex, were you there?) at night and they kept breaking into song. It was rather hilarious. Couldn't be stopped.
(I do not sing. Not in public, and I spare my own sensibilities in private.)
Nothing I love more than breaking into song.
I watched Dr. Horrible! Good times.
Now I should go to bed, since I apparently have to get up at 4:45 tomorrow. WTF.
I knew the full recording of Les Miz a good 10 years before I saw it and I knew it from hearing it almost everyday for 3 months solid. I oftem break into:
"You in the barricades listen to this- no one is going to help you to fiiiigghhtt. You're on your OWN!..." And on and on. Me singing all the parts. It's possible my brother is the only who does not find this annoying or odd.
Ha.
the number one tv download on itunes -- Dr. Horrible.
Can't remember who all was there. I think we were down there for the Memorial day concert at teh Capitol. Or Labor. I get those confused.
I've watched it three times. Much love for NPH.
eta: Also, I definitely got a Once More With Feeling vibe.

I usually unplug the router, to re-set stuff when my connection drops even though everything is greenlit.
"You in the barricades listen to this- no one is going to help you to fiiiigghhtt. You're on your OWN!..."
"You have NO FRIENDS! Give UP your guns or DIE!!!"
