It's all about choices, Faith. The ones we make, and the ones we don't. Oh, and the consequences. Those are always fun.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

1. Tom it is never too early for a food when you are hungry for it. 2. Flea you are correct. 3. Can't watch fun show until home. 4. Kinda getting sick of no fun internets during work (except via BBerry).

ImacN - his head was hurting at camp yesterday. Enough that they called me. I think it was somewhat lack of eating, but then I found out that in prep for a field trip today the counselors were stressing staying with the group, because they said "if you get lost you may never see your mom and dad again." Guess who FREAKED THE FUCK OUT. I calmly explained to a counselor this morning that such scare tactics were harmful to some kids, like ones WHO HAVE LOST PARENTS FOR REAL.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, bad call, counselors. Very bad. And yet, exactly the kind of thing it's easy to say without thinking about it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

"if you get lost you may never see your mom and dad again."

Holy shit. That's really appalling.

In other appalling news, my work had a lunch reservation for 30 people for tomorrow that just got cancelled on us. Because it's lunch time. They accepted and confirmed the reservation!! New Yorkers: don't go to Wall Street Burger Shoppe.

hip deep in pie

I smite people who break out into song. Esp. mmy friend Steve, who used to leave messages in song form. My roommate from theatre school still can break into his, "Hello Sue/What are you going to do?/Tonight after rehearsal..." that was to the tune of "Hello Twelve, Hello Thirteen, Hello Love."

And despite this, I am trying to watch Dr. Horrible, but the site is overloaded.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

In the Music Dpt. it frequently includes choreography.

Punishingly Intricate

The one problem is that it's earwormed me with the TMBG song.

hah! I was wondering why that was in my head and now I know.

I break out into song a lot, unsurprisingly, and my grandmother was the queen of having a song for any word or phrase or idea that came up. Her repertoire was seemingly endless.

I'm not going to be able to watch until I get home and now I'm worried that I won't be able to at all if the site's overloaded. And I can't find the site anyway. WHY SO HARD??

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

"if you get lost you may never see your mom and dad again."

What the fuck is WRONG with people??? Seriously!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oh, msbelle, how unthinkingly callous. I'm sure they'd never have said it if they'd had even a minute's thought. But that's the sort of stuff that just doesn't occur to most people if it's outside our own experience.

I hope mac's feeling better today, poor noodle.
