Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I found that, while bright, it didn't have a lot of throw so it's didn't light anything further than a couple of feet away from it.

I want to light my closet, and I was thinking of having two, so it may do. The positioning for the light switch of my clothes closet is getting on my last nerve--it's on the hinge side of an outward-opening door. Using one on each side of the doorway inside the closet might work better.

hip deep in pie

Ha! that's what I bought them for, and despite the difficulty of the slanted roof, it only really lit up the shelf above the clothes bad. I ended up using a light fixture with a real light bulb and a long extension cord.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I found it so disturbing going through blogs in support of my brother. Tons of threads with acidic hate all sort of openly describing the Obamas as depicted in the cartoon...before the cartoon.

And the open hatred of illegal immigrants. In New Hampshire.

I sit in California and don't know whether to laugh or cry at the abject ignorance.

Yes, yes. Get rid of all the illegals now. And pay eight dollars for a jar of smucker's strawberry jam. Dumbass. There's no follow-through logic going on.

Allyson, about your link: if that dude has any money, someone with no ethics and a grifters talent for emotional manipulation and catering to oversized insecure egos will probably take him for most of it.

Allyson, in terms of the haters. Not surprising: but the unfairness of how your brother is being treated is not changed by the fact that the involvement of an immigrant attracts racists.

And the open hatred of illegal immigrants. In New Hampshire.

NH is fairly conservative as a rule. Among other things, they teach creationism in a number of school districts. It's no Vermont.

I'm very sorry about all this sh*t your brother and his family are going through.

No, I realize how conservative New Hampshire is. But the pure venom about illegals takin' our jobs...in New Hampshire? Really? NEW HAMPSHIRE?

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Ahh...monday. I have a jury summons. They couldn't tell me until last night if I was going in --only to say call us back at 11am . And I am going in. I wouldn't have cared -- I just like to plan my mondays ( they tend to be my most productive days at home) so today feels half-assed.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I took a look at some of the comments that were on an SFGate story about an Armenian family who were turned down for asylum after waiting 16 years for a determination of their status, which is as disheartening as you might think -- lots of blather about how illegal immigrants should be kicked out, which of course, they weren't and still aren't technically as long as they're appealing the ruling.

The stupidity, it BURNS.
