What is up with my sleep schedule? Past two nights, I've gone to bed around 11, and woken up around 5. Yesterday, I then fell asleep again around 10 and slept until 3:30. I really hope that the crazy sleeping 16 hours a day that no doctor could explain that I had last year hasn't shown up again.

My grandparents were born in the 1890s -- I need to ask my Mom about the exact dates. Mom is getting up there -- 87 last month, but is actually doing OK for her age and all. I'm so aware that every holiday is a gift at this point, you know?

I'm taking a sick day today. I've been having sinus problems for the past week, and it's moved into my ears now. So, I'm trying to get into my doctor's office for some antibiotics and Claritin refill, and then back home to try and sleep. Also, I've got to get laundry done.

I usually get sinus problems in July, as a precursor to getting full-on allergies in August. Some years I'm more sensitive than others, regardless of what the pollen count is. It looks like this year is going to be a bad one for me.
