I'm getting my hair cut & colored tomorrow in preparation for writers conferences next weekend and then again two weekends after that. Then Sunday DH and I are teaching Annabel's class in children's church (parents take turns during summer), and in the afternoon I'm going shopping. Because I need new clothes for the conferences, too....

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I'm currently rocking out to Stevie Wonder, but will be going grocery shopping and doing laundry tonight, then working at B&N tomorrow and vegging the rest of the weekend.
Maybe go see Wall-E on Sunday.
I think this is tongue and grove the floor boards weekend.
I'm doing a "write-in" with friends from my writing group tomorrow, possibly painting more of the porch, and trying to figure out my sewing machine (to make new covers for the cushions on the porch).
There will also be sleeping in, napping, and drinking.
What I usually do on weekends: write, and muck about with the sewing machine. I have Stuff To Make for the upcoming Punk Rock Flea Market. I'm also 1.5 chapters away from finishing the first draft of my manuscript.
But tonight is Hellboy II.
Hellboy, groceries and trying to get rid of more stuff from my MiL's house so we can move our stuff in. Hopefully, sleeping in too.
Only 1.5 chapters to go! That's awesome, Jilli.
I wish I was a Seattlista so you could hold my hand while I figure out the sewing machine.
Tomorrow: Mammogram!
Sunday: Church, grandparental doting for Matilda.
Amongst the above there will likely be the doing and folding of laundry, mainlining Wire S1, and possibly martinis if either Hec or I can remember to get some decent sized olives. Also possibly noodling around with some writing, or at least prep for gearing up for considering starting some writing.
Perkins's weekend sounds much more made of win, though.
Tonight: Cook. Prep house.
(eta: oops! Playlists!!)
Tomorrow: Cook more. PARTY.
Only 1.5 chapters to go! That's awesome, Jilli.
I just need to make myself sit down and finish them. I'm a little freaked out by the prospect.
I wish I was a Seattlista so you could hold my hand while I figure out the sewing machine.
If you were a Seattleista, you could just be part of the bartering circle. I'm getting dinner made for me on Sunday night in return for doing some clothing alterations.
