Lorne: Once the word spreads you beat up an innocent old man, well, the truly terrible will think twice before going toe-to-toe with our Avenging Angel. Spike: Yes. The geriatric community will be soiling their nappies when they hear you're on the case. Bravo.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Ah, yes. Ain't that fresh.

If you have other options, then a rescheduling that never makes it onto the calendar seems the way to go.

I'm getting a lot of interviews on my own, really. We'll see what happens. I may call and cancel tomorrow.

I love that all three of my brother's kids are big fans of 60s and 70s music and mostly hate modern pop crap (I'm thinking Britney, et al here), and my oldest nephew's favorite band is Styx.

I'm learning Eva Cassidy's version, which I like even more.

Love Eva Cassidy. She, Tierney Sutton, and Stacey Kent are my favorite contemporary(ish) standard singers.

CJ loves Styx. Cracks me up. When he was very weeeeeeeee, he loved the intro to Renegade. LOVED it.

Happy Birthday, sarameg!

I remembered Southwestern chicken wraps as being much tastier than they apparently are. Should have gone with soup for lunch today.

haven't heard that album in ages....

I guess you don't have t-t-t-too much time on your hands.

My brother was big on Styx for a while, so I effectively was as well. I suspect I could still recite large portions of Paradise Theater & Kilroy Was Here.

“Not dead yet!”

I, alas, do not rock the Paradise. At least, not last time I checked. For me it's more like Nothing Ever Goes as Planned.

The Hub is a HUGE King Crimson and its Various Offshoots fan. And Weird Al. We have a very... eclectic CD collection.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I HATE YOU ALL. My guilty pleasure is Guns 'n' Roses, and now I am earwormed.

Take me down to the Paradise City,
Where the grass is green and the girls are pretty.
Oh won't you please take me home? (woaaaoooh)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Strega is me.

I should grab some Styx from the iTunes store. Since I have more disposable income than I used to, I can collect all this stuff I listened to an æon ago....
