Congratulations to the class of 1999. You all proved more or less adequate.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I'm sticking with Boom-De-Yada. All other earworms must leave me ALONE. If worst comes to worst, I can defeat any other earworm with "Rocky Top," but I think you have to be a lifetime SEC football fan for that one to work.

Just got an email from my post-college roommate, who was also one of my bridesmaids, telling me she and her husband are pregnant with twins, due in January. They've been married since 1996, and these are their first kids, so that'll be an adjustment!

Or just a Dolly Parton fan. Then again, I have ABBA more readily at my disposal to counteract most earworms. There's not much that can survive being hit with "Dancing Queen," "Knowing Me, Knowing You," and "Take a Chance on Me" in quick succession.

My friend told me that the way to get an earworm out of your head is to do math. I think I'd rather have the earworm.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Another way (for me) is to re-imagine the song as sung by Willie Nelson. Or, turn up Cobra Starship really loudly. But that's a recent development.

Art Crawl!!!

Tennis related - did anyone else notice that Richard Williams is/was wearing a Stargate World hat while watching Venus play? I mean, is that STARGATE? Or something unrelated.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Happy Birthday, sj.

Dana is truly evil.

We were told that we could leave work at 1 today. And you can all probably predict what my boss did last night. Yep. He scheduled a meeting for today at 1:30. I am sitting here plotting his downfall.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Aargh!

Person I was supposed to meet with had meeting down for tomorrow (he is from eastern europe, so I am imagining forgot about the holiday).

I was going to leave at 1, but am waiting for someone to return my keys

He just asked me if he could come by later this afternoon. Should I answer him from home later and pretend I did not get the email?
