Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

This is not actually an evening gown. I'm not sure what the plan was.

Ugh. I have so little food at home. But I really want to go home and straight to bed with this head. Just have to hold out one more workday. As things stand if I go to the ER tonight I'll probably not be able to make it into the office tomorrow, and I've already worked from home once this very long week.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

All of those outfits are hilarious.

Somewhat relatedly, I'm watching the Legally Blonde Broadway try-out reality show, and I'm so glad to see that Kate Schindle is in the cast. I remember when, at the end of her year as Miss America, she moved to NYC and got a waitressing job, because she wanted to be an actress. Good for her!

Someone actually reads the paper edition of The Observer?

Pat Kiernan, at least!

Do any of these people have children in daycare? Because much as I'd love a 4-day work week, I just couldn't do this. Add in commute time, and the daycare just isn't open long enough for me to work a 10-hour day.

That's the thing that seems so crazy to me. Even if you work out the drop-off/pick-up, don't parents want to see their kids in the evenings?

It looks like they are all wearing the same swimsuit, just in different pastel colors. And whose idea was it for them to be lying in the water.

ION, I went to the dentist today, and it was a new hygenist, so she had no idea how much better I've been doing with the flossing! She was like yeah, you don't floss. I wanted to tell her to go get the other hygenist to vouch for my progress.

Hee! I'm glad to help provide some afternoon entertainment!!

Miss Thailand does look very fierce warrior woman.

But Miss Albania looks so sinister, it's like, she will have already poisoned Miss Thailand's breakfast, and Miss T will never have the chance to meet her on the honorable field of battle, as Miss Albania will have already rifled through her things and stolen off into the night while Miss Thailand is writhing on the floor, attempting to make to the appointed challenge place and time...
