Happy Birthday Frank!
Shir-
I am new to music fandom, and while there I doubt one indivisual voice makes a difference, if people have polite, caring things to say I don't see how it would hurt. And I do think fans can be really good about providing support and cheer after someone is clean. Travis McCoy from Gym Class Heroes is recently clean and posted a really touching blog about it, and fans really did seem to be happy for him, and I would think that would help-- at least as much as us sending Joss and Kai a gift when they had a baby.
Happy Birthday Frank.
I am home with an intestinal bug. Yuueeech.
Happy Birthday, Frank!
Happy birthday, Frank!
Shir, I'm so glad you checked in and you're okay -- I heard about the attack this morning, and I worried.
Okay, I was trying to be keen and do some work for a meeting from home this morning. But people at work failed to tell me that they had changed the location and purpose of the meeting tomorrow. I had already booked a room! I was just about to ordering catering! Fuck!
Happy birthday Frankenbuddha!
Very glad you checked in, Shir.
Thanks, amych ans Sox. I wasn't sure at first if to report it in b.org.
David and Sophia, thank you for your answers. Sophia - I'm talking about a situation on which there's unclarity about the artist's state, or when it's clear he or she are abusing themselves (drug use, etc.). It's easy and great to be happy for someone you're a fan of and care about as a human being when he or she are doing well, but when they're not it's a lot harder. It seems like as a good fan, there's almost nothing you can do.
Happy Birthday, Frankenbuddha!
