I tend to lowball the pain. When I had my surgery, I kept telling them I didn't need pain meds. Finally the nurse said "I'm not asking you if you can bear it, I'm asking if you feel any pain at all" and I said "well yeah, it hurts but I can deal." She then made me take some drugs.
I like the way the walls go out. Gives you an open feeling. Firefly is a good design. People don't appreciate the substance of things. Objects in space. People miss out on what's solid.

I am proof there's no virtue in pain, but I've flushed my share of meds, and recently at that. I had my reasons, and I stand by them.

When her Father was dying he was much the same, he knew they were his last days and he wanted to be lucid no matter how much it hurt.

As for pain and these things, I don't like taking pills, because that means I'll have to admit I'm not feeling well and treat myself different. And I don't like the universe not acting the way I want it to act, so. But I'm better with it lately, actually taking paracetamol when I have headaches, etc.
On the bright-side-news, I managed to get my b-12 count from the lowest level to the highest in 10 months of vitamin taking. Yay body! I can stay vegetarian!
