I'm not evil again. Why does everyone think that?

Compassionately intolerant

I'm fascinated by the armlessness of wedding dresses. Are there no brides who want sleeves?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Probably not a bad time for me to move out of Texas, I guess.

Marry Isaac Jaffe, forever and ever.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

IIRC from my own bridal days, brides are clamoring for sleeves but they're damnably hard to find. It's fairly infuriating.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm so sorry to hear all the bad pet news! I will give my fuzzies extra love & kisses tonight.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hilariously (given my current single state), I already figure I'll want a custom made wedding dress, exactly for the sleeves issue!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I just got bad news.

My best man has polycystic kidney disease (PKD).

Both of his kidneys are failing and he'll need a transplant or dialysis.

He's been my best friend since we were 15.

Damn, David, I'm sorry to hear that.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Crap, Hec. I'm officially calling for a do-over on today.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I'm sorry, Hec.

This day has had way too much shitty news in it.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Yeah, it's not good.

It's not a death sentence but it's pretty fucking serious if he doesn't get a donor.

And the success of transplants goes down after you switch to dialysis.

He's lost a lot of weight already, and it's supposed to be pretty painful (according to wikipedia).

Grrrrr. First my friend Karen's breast cancer, and now this. They're both my age.
