Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Aw, poor Bear. What a sweetheart she was. I hope she is enjoying an endless supply of glucosamine pills in Heaven.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Man, I gotta go home today and hug my old dawg. (And he will look at me like "buh? hey, I was taking a nap!")

Punishingly Intricate

We had to say goodbye to Bear two weeks ago. We got her off the streets 11 years ago, and she was maybe 2 or 3 or 4 at the time. She was a great dog, and just finally got old and broken down.

oh, lori, I'm so sorry. I know she had a great life with you. That's kind of Frank's story. I got him off the street (well he showed up at my friends' house from the streets) 11 1/2 years ago. And he also was anywhere from 2 - 4 or older.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

lori, so sad. Bear was an awesome dog. Did it affect Kuma at all? POOR PETS AND THEIR HUMANS!

Because books.

Oh, Bear had so much character! What a face. I'm so sorry, lori.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, Bear! How are you and Kuma handling with the empty spot? She had a good long safe run with you.

People are asking me to do way too much work today.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I'm sorry, lori. Bear was a beautiful dog.

Thanks everyone.

Kuma seems implacable. One never knows what goes on in that hard head of his. And until I tear up the pee-soaked carpet, there isn't that much of an empty spot!
