The DC handgun law has been struck down, in a 5-4 decision, and the majority says there is an individual right to bear arms...
I kinda gotta agree with the majority in this case. The DC law was pretty extreme and I feel like it did go against the 2nd amendment. I'm don't feel particularly great about the decision, but I can't convince myself it was wrong.
Yes, my boss is her boss. She works from home all the time, in CA. But she also has special pull with the big boss, so she's more or less untouchable
That sucks. Well, not for her.
what happens in meeting when big boss asks about a project and it isn't done because of her? If I were her boss I would assign her things just for that reason and let it come out in meetings that she is not doing her work.
That sucks. Well, not for her.
For reals. I was just wondering where I could sign up for such a gig.
Any of our high school teachers around? Anyone want to give me a sort of usual 11th grade course list? Such as, what history might you be studying?
My grandfather was half-Muskogee Indian. His dad was a Klansman and wasted all of his wife's oil money being an idiot. No princesses though.
Nobody notable in my Czech/French/English/Swedish ancestors. All European as far as I know. Guess that's why I like muffins.
So sorry for Pico and Josie.
And sadly, it's not just sick kitty days. We had to say goodbye to Bear two weeks ago. We got her off the streets 11 years ago, and she was maybe 2 or 3 or 4 at the time. She was a great dog, and just finally got old and broken down. She'd been slowing down the last few years, and it was finally time - she was tired of it and she was done. Sorry about Bear as well. Nice photos, she was a cute dog.
I'm sorry, lori. She was such a huge character.
