And, universe, I know that a lot of the Buffista pet issues lately have been because you've been kind enough to let them live nice long, long lives, but, even so, could you take it just a little easier on them? It seems like there's been one kitty crisis after another for weeks and weeks now.

I was surprised. I've never been sure what's responsible for the appearance that there's one native American accent, and that it spreads into Canada too.
I think the native American accent of which you speak (and indigenous Canadian too) is more likely to be a cadence.

I spoke to the vet again. There's something going on with Pico's TMJ. It could be a bone infection, which is treatable, or it could be bone cancer, which NSM. We are consulting with a pet radiologist. But it doesn't look good. The vet called me while Pico was still under in case I wanted to put him to sleep.
