Zoe: Uh huh. River, honey? He's putting the hair away now. River: It'll still be there... waiting.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Am going to a concert tonight, at a venue that's maybe 15 minutes from our house.Yay.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Yep, he hit a school bus that ran a stop sign.

That's... I have no words for how ironic that is. I mean, not very ironic when your neck and ribs are broken and your bike is wrecked. Still. The one thing you nevereverever want to do is hit a school bus. That's like, the worst ever. They throw you under the jail for that.

But the school bus *ran a stop sign*? That's...like a hall pass, or something.

Life is weird, man. I hope he heals up with no complications, and somebody's insurance pays for the bike without his premiums going up. Damn.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yeah, the police already ticked the school bus driver (it was one of those short buses) so it sounds like bus line's insurance will have to pay for everything.

We helped unload the bike from a tow truck - it's weird - the handlebars are turned all the way to the left, and the front wheel is turned way to the right. (The front fork is totally fucked.)

Tomorrow at 1 cannot come soon enough.

Let's just say I'm having pity party against my will.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

(The front fork is totally fucked.)

Would it be better to have the front fuck totally forked?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Let's just say I'm having pity party against my will.

It's your pity party--you can sigh if you want to.

Less flippantly, hang in there sweetie.

Borbacare skin balance waters. I'd have tried it for the team if not for the migraine-associated risk.

The stupid pain last night didn't allow for much sleep and this morning the crown that hadn't been an issue became one making not only anything vaguely warm result in excruciating pain to not being able to chew. And then I valiantly soldiered on and we went to the Aquarium and AVAM. And it was mostly ok. Except that I've only eaten juice, a banana, an iced coffee, a strawberry lemon sorbet smoothie and I'm still trying to have a good time and it was just too much. I just kicked my parents out to go get me mushy food because I need SPACE under the best of circs and this isn't it.

I mean, I'm so falling apart my mother has offered me her hydrocodone if I need it.

And I hate them seeing me this fragile, cause I just wanted a nice visit, damnit.

It's just so frustrating.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

So sorry, Sarameg. Although this probably IS a nice visit for them. Parents like being able to do some nurturing once in a while, and they don't get a lot of chances once we grow up.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Borbacare skin balance waters.

They were a spa week sponsor so we tried some for free. Saw no change in skin balance and they were NAST.
