Why couldn't Giles have shackles like any self-respecting bachelor?

The first draft was 77 pages! Which I guess doesn't seem like a lot?

Yes, that is a lot. If one of my writers sent me a 77 page document to edit, I would stare unbelievingly at the monitor. But that's because I'm not lucky enough to have shrift as one of my writers. No, my writers are people I want to smack on the nose with the style guide.

Every so often, when I'm stuck in horrible work meetings, I fantasize about what my job would be like if I had ita as a project manager, shrift as a writer, and Plei as the content build queen. Then I sigh wistfully, because I know my team, while pretty awesome, will never be that awesome.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am aware of all internet traditions (with dirty language).

Perhaps the best cake ever. I mean, come on. Just the mottling alone!

My professional opinion is that it's definitely a lot.

Oh, good. And that didn't even include a bunch of stuff that I need to add later.

And no leaving early. Now have project I must finish by Friday afternoon in order to get full bonus.

Money money money.

That's so sweet! Sometimes I fantasize about what my job would be like if I had people on it who'd do their jobs, but I need to stop dreaming small, and dream Buffista. (Can you imagine I was made to look bad in front of my boss because a co-worker didn't collect his requirements because I had only asked him to do it?)

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I fantasize about what my job would be like

I, in turn, fantasize about what your documentation would be like. A little judiciously distributed buffistaness might solve the RTFM problem outright.

Damn. DAMN. I was all set for, "surely it's not as cool as the TARDIS cake I saw t'other day", but... damn.

I ... wow. I would have taken the co-worker aside for a Very Icy Talk afterward.

I fantasize about being obscenely rich and not working. t /not helpful

ION, my building is giving out ice cream bars today, but I feel overly full from lunch and so didn't get one.

Lunch was odd, a friend has reached the end of her rope and feels overwhelmed with life in New York. Only odd in that she is FROM NYC and only ever lived here. My bet is that she moves within the year. Seems to be a lot of that going on with my friends around my age.

Well sure, that's my standard stuck-in-a-meeting fantasy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

All the bosses are gone from my office, possibly for the rest of the week? But yet I'm still supposed to do my work! WTF is up with that?
