It also keeps your mouth moist, which is critical for keeping things in my stomach.
I recommend complex coloring books and colored pencils as distraction therapy. It is really good when your brain is stupid ,but needs occupation. I use them a lot when I have bad upper respiratory infections and I want to do something.I imagine if I could draw that might also work. Except when I am that stupid,I can't really do much that involves thinking,so coloring works
I love to color when I'm stressed. Colored pencils and a new coloring book, or one of those geometric design workbooks (I think they were called Altair Designs when I was a kid). Very calming. And fun!
Around 4 o'clock yesterday, one of our IT guys took remote control of my computer and asked me to yank the network cable. Virus outbreak on our company network, oh joy. Please note that I didn't have a chance to e-mail or save the Huge Technical Manual to a network drive. Then, last night, as I was trying to send a couple of important e-mails, home internet went out. I was not amused.
This morning, I arrived to find IT guy had locked my computer. It took an hour for me to get ahold of someone to tell me if it was okay to use my machine again. Meanwhile, I had been sneaky and logged in anyway, in order to submit Huge Technical Manual to supervisor so they can start the bonus process rolling.
Now, I am high on expired DayQuil, and after lunch I may drag myself under my desk to die.
Congratulations on the house getting!
