Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Napoleon wanted a butter substitute that would NOT go bad. NOT.

Whew. For a second there I was afraid all my conceptions of Napoleon were wrong....

Would it be better or worse to aspire to sound like Grampa Simpson?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

These branded junky foods mean little to me. Although I did grow up on margarine, since it could spread cold. When we moved to the UK we kept butter out of the fridge, and so drifted away from it, but in JA it was mandatory. Baked with butter, though.

Just got probably complimented by a co-worker. She saw me in one of my obi belts and liked it so much she went to etsy and bought her own. She was out this past weekend buying her summer wardrobe (she does that--people really do that??), and she came by to tell me that Armani and Hugo Boss totally have obi belts in their collections, so I get quiet ahead-of-the-curve points for having four or five of my own already.

Punishingly Intricate

While I love that obi belt, this made me go huh? Way to model a skirt in the most unflattering way possible.

not my people. hell, I am buying mac's back to school wardrobe for next year right now and over the summer. Ideally the boy will not have to go on one single clothes-buying trip. As for me, my wardrobe pretty much stays the same year to year now. A few years ago, probably 5, I did go on quite a summer clothing spree buying 4-5 shirts, 2-3 dresses and several t-shirts. This month I bought 4 pieces for next winter plus a new coat.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

There's a dude who went to my high school who keeps friending me all over the internets where I go by my real name. He's married and a conservative Republican super Christian. We have nothing in common.

Maybe he's my designated Watcher?

Pet wild kitty: [link]

Sorta' like a regular house cat. Except for the fact it can hunt catfish in the bathtub. And kill and eat a chicken.

Note to self: If I ever get a cat like this, only let it kill and eat chickens when outside....

Are you a slayer? That would be awesome.

Two people have friended me on Facebook that I absolutely have no idea who they are. One is from my graduating class in college, but I REALLY do not know him, and the other is a student where I work. I think his is friends with other students I know and I popped up on something and he friended me. I did not friend back.

Also, those obi-belts would be super easy to make. Perhaps I should make some? It is a lot of ribbon, though-- that can get expensive (which is probably why it is $40-- there is about $25.00 worth of ribbon on that thing.
