Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Later today NPR will have a story with me in it. Which has to be much more important.

Seriously? What program?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Later today NPR will have a story with me in it.

I heard it this morning. At least, a version of it. You had a couple sentences about the Disney marketing machine behind the Jonas Brothers.

I submit that it's not the olive salad that is crucial, but the oil that soaks into the bread.

hip deep in pie

eep - sharing blogs with co-workers - eepp!

I found her blog by accident actually, but she knows I read it. Like I said she's cool. I wouldn't let all my co-workers read my blog.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

At least, a version of it. You had a couple sentences about the Disney marketing machine behind the Jonas Brothers.

There you go. Was it All Things Considered? There might be a longer bit in the afternoon.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Me three (only w/o the meat - give me extra oily olive salad).

I'll make that trade. And whether or not I end up with a muffaletta, I'll enjoy it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I really need to change my NPR alarm clock station -- I waste half of my listening time on the stupid Takeaway.

Punishingly Intricate

NPR had a story about no email Fridays and I have to say, I do NOT get it.

Yeah, I don't either really.

Was it All Things Considered?

It was on Morning Edition. I caught the end of it but didn't hear you, David. bummer!

Morning Edition, at around 10 to 7. So yeah, it might be longer on ATC.

I do not get the Jonas Brothers. They sound whiny.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

That's so cool, Hec. I'll try to listen for it.

I am such a dork. I have been listening to Marketplace and always glad to hear the reports from Julie Small because the name is the same as an old friend of mine and I always wondered if it was her. It is. I am a dork, I should have KNOWN.

I'll make that trade. And whether or not I end up with a muffaletta, I'll enjoy it.

Without the olives it's a po' boy, isn't it? Also a delicious sandwich.
