Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I want black and a medium brown. I've seen one vintage pair, not in my size.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I would love it if this shoe were available as a spectator.

t edit Oh, man. These are not exactly my style, but they're still amazing: [link]

These, too: [link]

Are men's two tone shoes like that also called spectators? I realize that I am the person who should know, but I do not.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yes--and then there are saddle shoes which are kind of a flip, meaning the toes are light instead of dark.

I love saddle shoes! I have two pair. And I also have two pair of identically colored (pink and oxblood) spectator pumps from Fluevog though they are slightly different styles.

Thanks ita-- I am always calling them two tone. I've never purchased any, just made them out of wing tip shoes with carefully controlled shoe dye/floral spray.

Now I am missing my student who was good for nothing, but for some reason he excelled at masking off areas on shoes that were not to be painted. I hate doing it and am much more likely to rely on luck.

You intrigue me. I wonder if I could make the black/brown specators?? Or really, I'd probably be more likely to ruin them instead.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I just had the most awesome shrimp lightly sauteed in olive oil and garlic and organic herbs served over angel hair pasta. It was so light and delicious and PERFECT.

Also, new hot boy at work tried to engage me in a "why math is more important to humanity than English Lit" argument.

Though, I think he was just pulling my pigtails.

You should totally wear pigtails to be sure. Maybe bring an inkwell.
