Um, honey, when you were here last thursday, I said the last day to turn in work was friday. you didn't come on friday. I've already turned grades in.
I had that student this semester too. In fact, I had three of them.
It is too hot today. I fear the heat wave this weekend, esp since we have a birthday party in Pasadena on Saturday.
I find that disturbing and I like bacon.
This is turning out to be the bacon flavored decade.

Gaudy Night is excellent! and, if you want to follow the sequence, Busman's Honeymoon is lighter (and shorter); it ha a series of letters at the beginning which give you a variety of viewpoints (that's not a spoiler is it?).
