The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Can someone who is better versed in current pop culture explain to me why Kat Von D has her own makeup line at Sephora? I know that she's a reality TV "star", and that she's dating Nikki Sixx, but I don't quite get how that translates into getting her own makeup line.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Dear lord! My mother just sent me an email forward that it is taking all my strength not to reply to. It's one of those "and you think your shoes hurt" thinks about "footbinding in Japan" Only the shoes in the email are. not. Japanese. They are fetish-wear not only the crazy stripper heels and the ones that you're not really expected to walk in, but also the ones used for pony play.

My need to correct is fighting with the need for my mother never to know (or know that I know) about these things.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

DJ, is there any chance she'll listen if you clean up the explanation? or is this one of those "I got it in e-mail so it HAS to be true" situations?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Wowza, Kat, that's quite a bunny suit.

BTW Kat, I sent you a voice mail.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I emailed my sisters and a couple of my friends and told them to tell her.

I was wondering the same thing after walking past Sephora on the way to work. Especially since they're totally working her as a Dita retrovamp.

Oh well, it means that there really could be a Gothic Charm School makeup line one day, right? White, pink, and black eye shadow, black liquid liner, pomegranate lipstick. I have it all planned out, I just need MAC to call me.

Could be? Should be.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Could be? Should be.

Definitely. A line of make up that looks good with pale skin and dark hair is definitely something I would purchase.

I'd like a makeup line with Jilli, Fay and Plei as spokespersons. Brunette, Blonde and Redhead.

I'd be more than happy to have Jessimoon handle the blueheaded outliers, but I don't think she wears that much makeup.
