If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, it reminds me of how worried he was at the mention that you were maybe not his first mother. Sweet baby boy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

"OK this thing you promised and I pay for was not delivered, so what are you giving me for FREE, right NOW!"

I'm annoyed at myself for never getting anything from the cable company for those weeks I didn't have all the channels.

There's a kid in my neighborhood having an Emmett kind of day. I can hear the shouting from my deck. (Including the bit that makes me think back to my brother's young days: RANT RANT RANT RANT RANT IT'S NOT FUNNY! RANT RANT RANT RANT)

Ooh, that reminds me. Have to call Direct TV tomorrow to get credited for those two weeks I was out.

I'm just going to take comfort in the fifteen bucks from Zappos I didn't even have to ask for.

OMG, Kathy Griffin makes me laugh so hard. I can't believe how long I resisted her!

Reading (finally) back, I have to add commiseration to the mac and Emmett tsuris. Or rather add sympathies. Makes no a/c pale in comparison. I remember at about Emmett's age, having a grand meltdown on a birthday and sending my friends away to wallow in my bedroom and cry. I don't recall why. Those years are muddled. I just remember incredible sadness that really didn't have a reason. Ah, hormones. Would I have had the insight to explain what drove it.

And brave, brave mac. That's.. scary, even to some of us grown ups.

And measly news, the apt is still cooling. Of course, I'm afraid to turn the a/c off, so it may get down to 50 by Monday....

But you like 50, sara!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Kathy Griffin is mean-spirited and xenophobic. I can't like her or her material.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I just discovered that I haven't had enough stoned, naked Alan Tudyk in my life.
