I wear black yoga pants and a black t-shirt when I fly. My criteria for airplanewear are (a) comfy enough to fall asleep in (no zippers or pinchy bits) and (b) no pockets (so nothing to accidentally forget when going through security) and (c) not embarrassing to wear on the subway while getting to the airport.

When I'm traveling, I'm more often than not going from one temperature extreme to another, so my choices usually involve layering, comfort (24 hr travel) and a certain degree of presentability. Mostly this just means clean and unsoiled.

Smart people probably use like, vinegar or something harmless.
I am not smart, so I use whatever totally chemical stuff I use to clean my kitchen counters, but then I usually wipe it down a couple times with some water, after, to make it less chemically, inside the fridge.
