Natter 59: Dominate Your Face!
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Hmmm....I think it would depend on the severity of the deficiency. I'm not sure how a change in diet would effect the thyroid, beyond an increase in salt intake
IIRC, there are foods you should avoid if you're hypothyroid, like cabbage.
OMG the boot/sandal hybrid needs to die NOW. No possible good can come of it. Let it be mercifully released to that great Zappo's in the sky.
My mother didn't actually get these thighs. Or, at least, they are scaled down to fit her petite frame.
Genetically I'm mostly pissed that I got my maternal grandfather's rather than maternal grandmother's body hair. Her's was invisible blond. His, not so much. (I do like being a blue-eyed brunette so I can't complain too much.)
Dear people at the taco stand in the cafe,
I know, you're being all safe and stuff about the raw tomato thing. But the sign stating you'll be substituting lettuce for pico de gallo still makes me sad.
Actually breast size is supposedly passed down mostly via your dad's mom than your own.
Huh. Well, that bodes well for Matilda since my Mom was totally pinup material.
I'm not saying that diet and lifestyle don't play a part in one's health, but blaming them entirely for degenerative diseases... actually, frankly, makes me angry.
I'm with you. I don't buy into, nor would I even want, the live forever, reverse aging through food. But I would sincerely love to avoid synthetic hormones.

Now see? I didn't know that.
I don't currently have health insurance so the tests that might make all this clear are unavailable to me at the mo.
So, I'm looking for a place to start.
diabetes - partially genetic. yes life style plays a role, but there are thin fit people that get it. and overweight, unfit people that don't get it . and people that go through truma ( physical or emotional) where it suddenly shows up.
While I believe that a healthy diet helps most diseases, and being fitter helps you fight off any illness or physical trauma, perfect diet and perfect fitness do not promise perfect health.
I also don't believe that there is one perfect diet. some people need a bit more of this or that
But, they could use Florida Tomatoes - they've been judged to be safe. Or California tomatoes. They are also safe.
Plei, do you remember what it was about cabbage that made it a bad choice for those who were hypothyroid?
